Keyboard Shortcuts

Krenla supports several keyboard shortcuts for power users:

  • Tab — Move to next interactive element
  • Shift + Tab — Move to previous element
  • Enter / Space — Activate buttons and links
  • Esc — Close modals, dropdowns, and lightboxes
  • ← / → — Navigate images and videos
  • Space / K — Play/Pause video
  • F — Toggle video fullscreen
  • M — Mute/unmute video

Known Limitations

We're transparent about what's not yet fully accessible:

  • Some older uploaded videos may lack captions.
  • A few third-party embeds (ads, Discord widget) may not be fully keyboard accessible.
  • Complex interactive games may need additional polish for screen reader users.

We're working on it. If you find an accessibility issue, please report it so we can fix it faster.

Tips for a Better Experience

  • Increase text size — Use Ctrl/Cmd + "+" to zoom in your browser.
  • High contrast mode — Most operating systems offer high-contrast themes.
  • Screen reader — Works best with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, or TalkBack.
  • Reduced motion — We respect the prefers-reduced-motion CSS setting.
  • Dark mode — Krenla is already dark by default, easy on the eyes.
